Hello there, how's it going?
Today's blog post is my review of The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. I highly enjoyed this book so much considering I had to start reading it again because I took a break from reading. But let's get into it.

Title: The Cruel Prince
Pages: 325
Author: Holly Black
Rating: 5 stars
Jude's character I love so much, she just wants to be accepted by her 'Father' considering he did kill her real Father but has grown to accept Madoc as some sort of Father figure as she spent majority of her childhood in this world full of Magic and Faeries. Her twin Taryn, she annoyed me. She seems so helpless and all she wants to do is 'fall in love' there's more to life than just falling in love but to Taryn that's all on her mind. The older sister Viv, she's just a rebel. I don't have much to say about her, but let's get more onto the story.
Jude and Cardan. At first I hated Cardan for torturing Jude and sending his 'friends' to torture her. But the more I saw more of Cardan I slowly fell in love with him, even though Jude did trick him into becoming The High King after his family was killed by his brother Balekin. Jude and Cardan are both tortured souls, they hate each other and I just love it, its such a love hate relationship. Holly Black you have done well in writing these characters. I'm so excited for their character development in The Wicked King.
Right now, I'm reading The Wicked King, I'm about 50 pages in but I can't wait to read more of it and review that when I'm done. I also have to read the sample of Queen of Nothing when I'm done with Wicked King. This review wasn't super long but I just wanted to share my thoughts on some characters and a bit of the story without revealing too much.
Have a good day!
Courtney
