This book was for a book club that I'm currently in on discord with a few friends of mine. This book was our read for March and I finished reading it last night, and it wasn't my favourite. First of all, the story of it felt a bit mixed up for me, I didn't understand what was going on only in some parts. I felt like they didn't explain what the 'Craft' was that everyone kept talking about but I got the gist of it within half way of the book.

Secondly, this book reminded me a lot of the whole 'love at first sight' and that was a big cringe for me, I would've probably enjoyed this when I was in my early teens but I've grown out of that phase, I'm in my early twenties and prefer a lot of dark themed books. I wanted to keep on reading incase it got more interesting... It did at some parts but eventually lost my interest again, overall some parts were too bland or too cheesy for my liking.

But the ending was a big nope for me. It was a sudden ending that could've easily been continued in a few pages more or another chapter but I wouldn't suggest another book wouldn't have been written.

Would I recommend this book? Probably not, no. Do I regret buying this book? Nope, I'm glad I read it.

Ackie.
